I just received a package and was delighted to find the pre-order of @tkingfisher.com ‘s new book that I decided to surprise myself with several months back. Excited to see her panels next week at Dragon Con.
A gorgeous hardcover edition of T Kingfisher’s new novel held over a background of monstera leaves. A botanical snake curls around an apple on a black cover with the title in silver script.

Enjoying the anticipation of a show. Haven’t had the pleasure to see Ani live in years.
I sip on a beer on the left, my husband smiles on the right. We are in a dark crowded venue, anticipating the start of Ani Difranco’s performance. On the left my upper body is visible, I have a sparse beard, circular glasses, and a grey hat. On the right, my husband smiles in his rusty orange jacket and a black t shirt. He wears glasses as well, but his shaved head is uncovered. We are mildly surprised by the flash of the camera.

More pictures of Montblanc. He has been doing a wonderful job of helping my husband and I maintain our sanity of late.
The phot is taken from below. Monty, the energetic and slightly fiendish grey kitten, is in a clear bowl mounted on the wall. He is curled up inside of it viciously attacking a plush pumpkin with a smiley face. The pumpkin is at the center of Monty’s curled body, its leaf gripped firmly in his jaws. A dignified little grey kitty, Montblanc, is loaded on a light grey wall mounted perch. His tail drapes over the side at the midpoint. The wall is teal. Monty stares calmly ahead. Monty, the feisty grey kitten, tries his hands at boxing. He sits on a window mounted(technically glass door mounted) light grey cat hammock, weight on his hind paws as his front paws blur above him. He wildly bats at suction cup, cat nip infused, boxing gloves. Nestled in the corner of a grey couch, a matching kitten sits up in a very undignified manner. His hind paws are spread wide, his front left paw sits between them touching his tail. His front right paw braces himself just outside of his thigh so that he can turn to curiously gaze at something just out of frame.

Monty is a sweet bean and he is learning the outdoors.
A grey kitten strikes a bashful pose while laying in the lap of his friend. He has one paw crooked up against his cheek and the other angled down into his tummy. He is a sleepy little bean. Monty, the grey kitten, sits in a window backlit by the afternoon sun. He gazes out onto a tree that blushes with the spring bloom. Beside him in the window is a philodendron that his tail wraps around, and a hanging string of pearls(the plant) centered in the window. The walls around the window are teal. Monty, the sweet grey kitty, is sitting in the grass wearing a blue green harness with a matching leash. He is staring wide eyed out at the world, in what is likely fear, as he screams his displeasure at the world. His eyes are a bright green. One of his dads has a firm stance in the background, exhibited by a shorts clad leg. Monty is in the woods. He is wearing his harness and sitting in a litter of dead leaves. Next to him is a stump with a forest greens cat carrier backpack upon it. Monty looks back balefully. He is somewhat curious & less afraid. Nonetheless he is wary of the wilderness.

Montblanc is he grey kitten is relaxing in his luxuriously heated bed. He leans his torso up against the side, in a seated position. His hind legs are sprawled out and he looks obscenely comfortable. Montblanc is perched atop the shoulder of his bald father(Me!). He gazes curiously at the camera. The back half of his torso is obscured behind his father’s neck. The sweater on which he crouches is maroon. The bald man is very white & smiling. The walls of the sunroom are teal. There is an ungainly plant in the background, stashed atop a chair to keep it out of the destructive kitten’s reach.

Cats on the skyline you say?
A rapscallion of a kitten with grey fur & blue eyes sits snuggled up against a grey bathrobe with his tiny little tongue blepping out. The same rapscallion of a grey kitten sits upright with his hind legs askew. He is looking up, surprised mid bath by a balloon bouncing on the ceiling. His tongue is again bleeped out and he has a look of wonder on his face.
