I like video games and art. https://backloggd.com/u/humansnack/
Also the foreshadowing gets so annoying and repetitive it feels like the game is flashing this image to you at every other cutscene

I genuinely don't know how the party memebers feel about each other because if youre not Gustave, Maelle, or Verso you don't do anything, and every interaction between characters happens 1 on 1 to Verso.

I just think people in general should re-evaluate their time and relationship with games. Especially challenging ones.

I think in general people would enjoy challenging games a lot more if they viewed dying again and again as progress.

I don't really blame them. Like games might be the only thing you like, and if you actually suck at them that can be an ego blow.

Better to pretend that it's the game that's wrong.

We see a lot of this delusion happen whenever skill-based-matchmaking gets brought up

I think the general take away is that a lot of people that think they're good a video games do not want that belief to be challenged.

This is currently happening with Silksong, but it happened with the Elden Ring DLC, it's perpetually happening with Dark Souls 2 (especially scholar), fighting games in general get wrapped up into this as well.

i do this too, it saves a lot of time and i can get kinda bored letting the voice line play out.

i actually got so thrown off by trails from zero having voiced dialogue that i turned voices off

lots of good ones in the thread already, but one i havent seen mentioned yet is Trails to Azure's last dungeon. I really liked it, super long but had great boss fights and a different gimmick in each area to break things up

every time I played an rpg with random encounters I got frustrated whenever i got lost in a dungeon and the random encounters kept disorienting me, but now that modern dungeon design is straight hallways connected by rectangles it may not be an issue
