Permanent housing placements in LA are at record levels.

Still, thousands of people are living on the streets because we don’t have enough housing.

Every one of the 64 units in the new Alvarado & Temple Apartments means a person or family is off the street & finally has a shot at stability.

For months, families on Mohawk St had to fight unfair evictions to stay off the streets.

These families– many of whom had lived there for decades– were being forced from their homes under the guise of “substantial renovations,” when any necessary repairs could be completed without forcing them out.
