As a child in the 60s/70s, our go-to spoons in the kitchen were the "General Spoons" - each one depicted a Boer / WW1 General. I ended up with Hamilton. I think my sister got French, who was cooler in every way.

There is some wonderful graffiti on the trunks, some of it more than 100 years old. I wasn't sure at first, but there's so much and it's so consistent in appearance, I think it must be genuine.
