More than *anything* the people who actually know how technology works, who actually build things, wish that people would treat LLMs like every other technology, and be normal about them. Don't build a religion about them, don't force them on people, don't ignore the problems. Just be normal.

I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.

I think people might be missing some of the full implications of this. It's not *really* about protocols. They play a big part! But it's more about monetization imo
Currently: free product act as honeypot for your data, which is sold to companies, and fed back to you as ads
if atproto gets really big, i wonder what meta’s existential take on it will be. like would they go out of their way to try to make it not happen, or would they embrace it at some point and build stuff around
