Doug Ford's ad is clearly an international emergency. It must be, because Trump's authority to do this is predicated on it being an emergency.

Trump said a bunch of incorrect things about that ad. He said "Canada" when it was the Government of Ontario. He said that they tried to illegally influence the US Supreme Court -- ridiculous. Can you believe it?

Not conservatives, MAGA / Trump followers. A significant number of conservatives reject this stuff. Some of the most insightful opponents of Trump: The Bulwark, David From, ...

Careless ignorant Trump says Canada ran an ad. It was Ontàrio.

Surely you mean that "there's no MASS screening tool".

Not nuts. It isn't sanctioned by US law but required by treaty in most countries. What is outrageous is Trump sanctioning ICC judges.

Fact check, dammit: it is US that is breaking the CUSMA agreement, not Canada and not Mexico.

What the heck does he mean by "people"?

When I complained to the Globe, the Deputy Head of Newsroom Development said that they don't rewrite or re-edit newswire content. This content was from @apnews.com . Shame on both. Clearly one cannot trust American media reporting.

I don't know where he's at now but when Harper's administration was in power it was less bad than Bush's. No where near the scale of today's bad guys.

Tesla makes a lot of cars in China. Those can be exported to counties that put tariffs on US goods but not Chinese ones.

Some Chinese-manufactured Teslas used to go to the US but were stopped by Trump's last tariffs. We get them in Canada, I think.
