@nytimes.com headline "Bourbon Is Banned, California Wine Canceled, as Canada Pulls U.S. Alcohol". Quite inaccurate. Canada did no such thing. Nothing is banned. Various Canadian provincial agencies have pulled some or all US alcoholic drinks from their shelves.
