Mason was supposed (I think) to be talking about the conference BUT more than half the interview was Mason's faux anger and questions about RefUK ... and he claims there's no bias 🤷

The BBC then had to state after the interview that they are impartial. Deary deary me!

Only Fred Davis has defended a first-time win.

Joe Davis was seeded into the final in 1928 and John Pulman defended via a challenge match. Both cannot properly count.

So it should really be just the ‘curse’.
