There’s a bamboo forest behind my in-laws in Fukushima. Before 2011 it had well maintained paths. Now it’s very overgrown & I’m the only person that goes there. When it’s snowing it’s amazing. I just make sure I have warm waterproof boots so my feet don’t get cold & a mask if the air is too cold.

I’m more naturist adjacent. I love Onsen and Sento. When I’m visiting family in Japan there is a great outdoor Onsen that also has a private forest on its grounds. Winter is probably the best time to visit because you can go from hot water to cold snow. ⛄️

I haven’t watched enough Japanese episodes to know. The kids still prefer to watch Pokemon in English.

I considered doing it. But then I found an app that lets me post to BlueSky, Threads, and Twitter all at the same time. So I can post but just ignore the responses on Twitter and have fun on BlueSky and Threads.

My wife asks me to do little things like that around the house. She really only needs to ask once. I don’t need to be reminded every six months. 📅
