I think a good focus would be to restart pace feeder service to the stations like Barrington or Palatine to get a basis to see if that would work because a circulator for Barrington wouldn't be too bad of an idea

Tbh I don't think that would be too useful, I think it would be better off being bus hubs at stations with a feeder network instead bc of how relatively sparse it is between stations on NW hwy

Also talked to a guy who said that he changed his commute specifically around the cafe car just to experience it and (while holding a Starbucks in his hand) said that he would like hot coffee on board to be offered to save him the 10 minutes and cost of going to Starbucks.

Despite my train running 10 minutes late into Ogilvie it didn't matter since I didn't need to stop for a breakfast run.

I have a friend who bought it before he moved out of his parents place and loves it sm, I thought about getting it but I just don't do enough mobile gaming to warrant it

I know about that, it just feels more odd that something with the similar principal of destroying the road it runs on is also getting an expansion

It just continuously baffles me bc the Bombardier GLT bc of how stupid it was so it got replaced by BRT trolleybus line and a tram line, it just seems like since this is more affixed than the GLT that's somewhat more of a reason to keep it ig?

I am surprised that alstom is still supporting this platform let alone maybe building more vehicles for it, just seems like a loss all the way around.

Nothing to note yet, probably will come later either in the year in 2026 when the RTA is switched over to NITA
