Cafe car testing is a hit! It was stated that they're going to be looking further into expanding the cafe car as it stands and it might become a regular thing!

Today I was at the state capitol talking to senators and representatives regarding SB2111/HB3438 alongside the IEC for transit funding and reforms!
Didn't keep up with how the committees went after it later today in session but I definitely feel like I did something!

If and when Metra takes ownership of the UP-N, it would then be the best line to electrify. Path of least resistance being that it already has good ridership recovery, it has almost no freight traffic on it, and there are no diamonds on it limiting its frequency outside of the double track.
