I’ve been trying to keep active in making art. During a personal supply drought (panels) I’ve pulled out my Lino cut carving tools and finally started a project I’d been wanting to work on. This is one of the first test prints for my new billboard Linocut based on my painting “Love”.

This painting is still in my studio. I made a whole lot of car paintings a bunch of years ago. They did pretty okay, but sometimes a really specific collector demographic. The classic car paintings are from photos I take from found in the wild muscle cars and giant sedans and sports cars.

I’m just not socialing the way I once did. But, little update - this painting was in a juried exhibition a few months ago, and sold during that show.
The little extra joy was that the person who collected it, reached out to let me know how happy they were with the purchase.

When things look bleak, it’s a welcome reminder that there are still people out there standing up to the nonsense.
The only thing that will make that orange floating island of garbage’s recent comments about Canada less irritating is if we simply play it off like he really is that dumb, and not just trying to annoy us like a school yard bully.
