Spent a few days in Detroit. So often depicted as a craphole of urban failure and rotting capitalism. And yet, much prettier than expected.

I call this one "Waiting for the Parade". While waiting for the start of the Chinese New Year parade in Washington, DC. I saw this gathering of Chinese American veterans at the beginning of the line. Struck by their happiness and calm amidst the chaos I took my shot. #streetphotography #leica
