So... Lucian's new coats have arrived.

I feel there may have been some internal miscommunication, because I definitely ordered all of these in the same size ^^;

I will be reaching out to the manufacturer

I suspect that they accidentally used whippet sizing for the jacket

Both were ordered in the same size.

Taking a mental health break today!

We only got 53 hours of sunlight during October and I'm feeling it, Mister Krabs.

There are also background things going on with harassment, low blood (transfusion tomorrow!), and my landlord failing to uphold their end of the contract.

We designed a character over the course of a few streams to auction at the end of the month!

The auction will be live until the end of Sunday's stream, where we will announce the winner!

A halloween-themed adoptable character! A Greyhound Skulldog Taur character with an "anthro" style upper body but the lower body is the full body of a greyhound, in the style of a centaur. They are holding a pumpkin on their shoulders, and have a cream, russet orange & purple colour scheme. The purple markings are dotted down their body representing the underlying skeleton! The text reads "Halloween adoptable auction, Designed by chat! Available through Tiltify! 2 day auction! All proceeds to charity!" and on the character are watermarks, one of Hozz's logo & 2 saying "Unsold adopt" The linework in for the character, with a grey background and a darker grey inside the lines of the character. This view shows better the work that went into the linework that got partially hidden due to the darker colour scheme. The first poll was to decide the Adoptable Species, with Skulldog 43% (9), Werewolf 29% (6), Bat 14% (3), Horse 14% (3). Next to it are the handwritten words "Greyhound Skulldog". The next poll down is "Quad or bipedal" with a 50/50 split between Quadrupedal & Bipedal, both with 7 votes. Next to it is written "Taur". Yeah, you thought you could mess with me, chat? My reference material:
The back paw of Hozz's greyhound Lucian, showing that his paw is formed differently to other dog breeds and that there are 2 toes together, 2 toes together, and then the paid pad instead of the usual crescent of 4 toes around the main pad.

I got lucky in finding Lucian, and I know my experience of being able to have my ex-racing greyhound off lead with no muzzle is rare. I am very grateful.

It took a lot of training with help from trusted friends and their pets, but Lucian no longer shows prey drive to cats. In fact, he is scared of cats due to a simple bop on the nose from the cat Ciao.

If he sees a cat while he is out, he now makes himself small and walks away from them submissively

When I first got Lucian, I was fully prepared to have him on the lead for the rest of his life.

I was told greyhounds could not learn recall, and were likely to simply run away.

This may be true for some, as they all come with similar but oh-so-different backgrounds.
