... and different viewpoints come from having a wide range of people around the table - diverse boards. However, it is really difficult to achieve this - recruiting governors is pretty difficult at the moment. It's a big voluntary commitment & people have busy, busy lives. #UKEdGovs

I really like this question. A strong board isn’t one that always agrees, but one that welcomes robust discussion. Cohesion comes from valuing different viewpoints and creating space for governors to feel heard and understood.

Through all the tools at our disposal (leading on vision, values & policy, data, case studies, school visits, pupil, parent, staff voice) & mostly by curiosity - asking Qs & remembering that we set the culture of our organisation. When was this last a discussion topic on a board agenda? #UKEdGovs
