Trump supporters always act as if they’re being singled out just because we’re holding them accountable. Such a victim mentality. These people can’t take responsibility for literally anything. Always a deflection. I really don’t think can’t make any progress until we address this on a larger scale.

Great analogy
The best metaphor is of two parents competing for the affection of a child and one does the right thing for the child's health, the other lies to the child, lets them eat like sht, doesn't make them attend school, or do anything the kid doesn't want to do.
