From director Grace Hughes-Hallett (producer of Three Identical Strangers) this deeply emphatic film intertwines Jim Ambrose's journey of self-discovery with an exposé of the shocking 1960s psychological experiment still used to justify thousands of unnecessary surgical procedures on intersex kids.
