People just underestimate how many farm workers there are because they tend to live & work out in the sticks.

Out of sight, out of mind.

But farm workers are a HUGE part of the US workforce. A living wage here makes a huge difference in how much $$ circulates in the US economy.

Farm work isn't just a little detail. It's the 12th most common job in the US.

With 2.4 million of them, there's more farm workers in the US than restaurant servers; elementary & middle school teachers; secretaries; maintenance techs; or accountants.
