There was a skeleton display on a neighbor’s lawn, and I used a prism filter to produce this effect. #52frames_yourworstnightmare

52 Frames Challenge: “A shadow has to be the main subject of the picture.” I have no idea what produced this shadow. But it is interesting. Again, I made use of my smartphone instead of my DSLR camera. #52frames_shadows

This week’s 52 Frames challenge is “...take a photo that captures the feeling of something (or someone) being out of place.” Empty wine bottles do not belong in a garden (I will ignore the broken plate). #52Frames_outofplace

52 Frames Challenge: Change the White Balance - In ancient times, the only way to control the white balance was to change the light source, use a very specific type of film or use a filter. Today, I changed the white balance, made the picture warmer, using software. #52Frames_colortemperature

Normally, I would have centered the flower and did some post production work in Photoshop but the 52 Frames challenge was an 'Unusual Crop' which only allowed editing when taking the photo. #52Frames_unusualcrop

This week’s 52 Frames challenge was to do something “new. My 'new' was a Nikkor 55-200mm lens, set the zoom to 200mm, attached a polarizing filter and then attached 3.5X telephoto lens adapter since I did not have a 72mm polarizing filter. And used a rather slow shutter speed. #52Frames_somethingnew

This week's 52 Frames “challenge is about embracing softness, motion, and flow.” Taken from Greenwood Park Swim Club looking out into Bells Lake, NJ. I like how the photo shows the fluidness (??) of the water. The photo would not 'work' absent the grill in the foreground. #52frames_fluid

This week's 52 Frames challenge was to over or under exposed a picture. This is what I wrote on 52 Frames.

This challenge frustrates me. Am I a good photographer or someone who is just good at using software?
