Choosing him over Ben Wikler told me Democrats are completely unserious about winning or playing the long game, and prefer backing into an occasional majority when the GOP fucks everything up if the alternative is changing away from "the other money party".

I dunno. Brexit was pushed by a far right movement (UKIP) and Nigel Farage, who is now sitting pretty on verge of sweeping into power and having the UK run by xenophobic fascists.

You'd think the fact that Senators were originally appointed by their state legislatures for 126 years until 1913 would be kind of a clue.

Theres a lot less "money in politics" in other countries and they are all also fighting a defensive action against billionaire fascism. There's no procedural cure for defeating the far right. The only way through is with better politics.
