also the cottage we stayed at had a good few lovely, healthy houseplants, including a schlumbergera ('christmas cactus'), but i'm afraid all i have for you is the pothos that was happily trailing along the mantelpiece 🌱

also, because i still see some absurd myth-making about the care of this plant - this is my monstera obliqua. i keep it at normal room humidity next to a radiator and draughty window, i water it with tap water (uhhh when i remember to), & this room has been 14 - 17°c for the past couple of months 🌱
a (relatively large) healthy monstera obliqua with heavily fenestrated leaves. only the oldest three leaves (of 14) have very slight browning at the tips, otherwise there's no cosmetic damage at all

How many pigeons are there? You actually have four pigeons: Talia Tumbler Florence Fantail Harold Homer Rocky It seems I missed Rocky in my previous response! My apologies. Unfortunately, with four pigeons and only three holes, one pigeon will have to share a hole with another.

Imagine I want to provide housing for some pigeons. One of the pigeons is Talia Tumbler, one is Florence Fantail, one is Harold Homer, and the final pigeon is named Rocky. In my dovecote, there is an available hole on the east wall, one on the west wall, and one on the south wall, and those are all the available holes. Carn all the pigeons take up residence in holes in my dovecote without any two of them having to share a hole? Yes, all the pigeons can have their own hole in your dovecote. Here's why: You have 3 pigeons: Talia, Florence, and Harold. You have 3 holes: one on the east wall, one on the west wall, and one on the south wall. Each pigeon can take one of the available holes.
