Really great stuff, Joe. As a maybe-interesting counter example to the Greek stuff, the 1st graf/3rd pic made me think of Old Avestan & Zoroastrianism. Its scriptures were orally transmitted until 500CE, and yet a lot of the theology revolves around an abstract “structure vs entropy” dichotomy
