Whitehall Tav is an 'honest' pub & back in the 90s it's what 90% of pubs were like, things changed in the 00s. So now people from certain backgrounds only experience pubs are of Fallow & Ball painted gastropubs. So if a pub doesn't offer triple cooked chips it's a 'stabby' pub. It's their loss.
