Sherlock Holmes was fun, moreish short stories published in a monthly magazine. They're not medicine, they're sweets. Really, *really* good sweets. Top class confectionary. But not not confectionery.
"There are other reasons sherlock" is my entire problem with sherlock holmes in any version. And also why that one where he ends up in modern times is so genius - he makes this great long theory about handwriting being male or something and it turns out it's a photocopy. Sucks to suck, Sherlock.
There's a scene in the BBC Sherlock where Sherlock is explaining to Watson the reason why there is scratch marks around (Watson's sister's) phone usb port was because (she) was an alcoholic
