Good question. I’d be equally interested to know more about senior Labour figures who’ve accepted Israeli derived funds and more on the role of Labour Friends of Israel.

The ID card thing wasn’t in the manifesto either. One estimate is that it’ll cost £1bn to set up. That’s a lot when around 31% of English children are growing up in poverty.

You could equally argue that the difficult financial position Labour is in was caused by the huge additional spend on things like Dreadnought summaries. Estimates vary but it could be £118 bn over the next 10 years.

I agree. Unfortunately we have a lot of MSM feeding the idea that tax is theft, there to be avoided, and benefits are there for scroungers. “They’ll neither work not want” as my granny would have said (the nasty wee Presbyterian)

And they lied about the outcomes of the changes. We’ll cut PIP to get people into work - well no you’ll get disabled people into poverty and it’s PIP which supports some people to work. Ill considered legislation.

Agreed. In my view if there’s anything worse that racism it’s deploying racism for political ends. Vile in the extreme.

No he was determined that the current economic situation could be resolved if disabled people only got support to drive cheap cars. It’s workhouses thinking woven into out culture. Toxic.
