Sony bought the two most talented remastering/porting companies on the planet (Bluepoint & Nixxes) and locked them down into doing the most boring stuff possible. Absolutely damaged the game industry as a whole, a huge loss when they got swallowed up.

Ages ago, one of my journalism mentors cautioned me about the astronomic level of propaganda in the field and suggested the following reminders as a way to ground against it:

1) Who, and what, is being emphasized?

2) Who, and what, is being ignored?

3) Who, and what, is considered expendable?

personally I think it’s beautiful that whoever is running this account can fuck up not one, not two, but three spellings of the most popular games this year presumably due to phone autocorrect instead of just scheduling it on a computer as god intended

I will tolerate much in the world of online discourse, but I will not suffer the suggestion that Balatro doesn't deserve a GOTY nomination. That is my red line and I will not see it crossed.
