I’ve been plugging away for years at my little zines and fonts and such, because I would honestly go nuts if I didn’t have creative outlets, but as the years go by I also feel strongly that telling queer stories and making queer art — even nerdy stuff like mine — is radical and important and real.

To the best of my knowledge, this photo is still a Pink Mince exclusive: Robert Mapplethorpe chatting with Elliott Siegal (then-manager of the St. Mark’s Baths in Greenwich Village) outside of a West Village bar in 1978. Siegal was the model that Mapplethorpe shot for the cover of Drummer #24.
