Over the course of the holiday weekend we are going to have a final fantasy 6 fest with grinding any% runs. I’m going to try and do a run each day, Wednesday through Saturday or until I go insane.
Mostly in the evening til we finish, I’ll finally remember to post the stream links too

Gencon has been pretty awesome, I think I might’ve started it with a cold but today I think I’m doing better! I’ve picked up less things this year but I think it’s a more meaningful bunch of stuff. More to share later!

Learning FF6 has probably been one of the biggest speedruns challenges. I’ve been living in this game for almost 3 months now, was lacking resources due to the community site being down and having to devise my disaster run.

Out of all the TCGs we’ve been hit with in the past 4-5 years, this ones feels a bit fundamentally different to me - in a good way. You can see the evolution of design get applied here from so many other games, easily the hype game of the year for me.

Happy destined rivals release weekend, I just picked up an overpriced ETB since literally no locals will sell at msrp anymore but I got a nice hit at least!

Lackluster gameplay, ever encroaching need to pay money to play it effectively at all and a pretty boring gameplay state overall.

Had an absolute blast at the Star Wars unlimited regional today in Minneapolis, super impressed with how organized it was - made for a very stress free and fun environment. Would do it again!

I’ve been watching solo leveling and I’ve felt pretty “meh” about it
I’m kinda bewildered on why it’s just SO popular, but also maybe it’s because our world is spiraling into oblivion and maybe a power fantasy is what people need
Also it’s totally ripping off hunter hunter, which is much better
