Ahhhhh, no wonder! The director did (some of) Dear Missy, no wonder the story pov is very female-sympathetic especially for women in white-collar roles (I bet if I know more about the dramas the screenwriter is credited for, it would've been apparent to me much sooner too)

Good luck for your tests! Belatedly, I should mention that they have wayyyy more overt expressions of both capitalism and nationalism (lmao) so adjusting for that you can just enjoy the people for who they are.
