He’s tanking the economy, destroying our standing in the world, depriving women and LGBTQ communities of their fundamental rights, attacking the environment, disappearing legal immigrants, gutting Veteran’s benefits and Social Security. And he’s making you pay for his golf trips while he’s at it.

No one asked but what “radicalized” me to loathe authoritarianism and employ human empathy was education. Hearing my grandparents stories of escaping war torn countries, seeing their pictures and just observing their existence as humans who knew what evil looked like. But then 1/2

This is the crux of it all. The pursuit of money and power by any means necessary. Religion is a powerful catalyst to both because when you control the masses with fear of damnation, they will selfishly do anything to save themselves.
Money is the root of all their GOP evil.

We should not be exploring “both sides” of such an egregious topic. Canada is our neighbor, ally and a sovereign country. Promoting opinions like this gives credibility to the possibility of annexation and it is quite troubling. Please do better NYT!

2/2 - but no one is coming to save us. We have presumably failed that we are in this alone because we brought it amongst ourselves. We need to fight back. So many believe the US 1950s were great; pre civil rights era,no LGBTQ rights nonexistent,high taxation and drafting teenagers to fruitless war.
