Also if you notice how his wings are particularly held and pierced in place it's a sort of mimicry of taxidermy boxes for insects and bats. Usually they use pins to keep certain parts in place or to move them.

Felt since I pretty much got my side work stuff (even tho Dianthe isn't side work) done I'd go onto working on concept art for important story beats and the like. I've never done concept art of Ace's imprisonment so I felt it was a good as time as any.

Ace pretty much with how his rewritten lore is now 🤭 (I am genuinely excited for giving the backstory on the Children of Apophis's creation but more so Ace cause he's my baby boy. And I love traumatizing my characters).
