im on 4.0 but it works with the transform operation, not with the "move layer" tool (shrug). make sure you have "snap to grid" enabled when transforming. the snapping options are enabled with ctrl+1,2,3, with ctrl+3 being snap to grid.

the slime is using a fresnel shader for the transparent look, and the animation is mostly shape keys. the strand is a curve path with 3 points animated with the hook modifier on empties, and I keyframe a model swap when the strand breaks, as well as when the hand is over the peanis
