This Sunday, August 31, is our final Alternative Gathering of the Summer. There will be NO GATHERING at 515 Woodford Street this week. We will be gathering 10am-12pm at Cassie Moon’s house for a picnic. Bring a dish to share or something to grill. It’s going to be a wondeful time of community.

This Sunday will not be a normal Sunday at HopeGateWay. We will not gather in the sanctuary to sing and pray. We will be outside engaging with our neighbors and building community together.

This is the first of three "alternative gathering" Sundays this Summer for the HopeGateWay Community.

If you’re feeling sad, angry, confused, and searching for a way to express those feelings join us today at 10am for open, safe space.

Join us on Sunday, April 13 for our Palm Sunday Protest. We will remember Jesus' creative protest of riding a donkey into Jerusalem as a play on the upside down kinGdom he was proclaiming. We will join that movement and the one sweeping our nation and world as we protest on our little corner.

Join the Maine Council of Churches on Wednesday, March 26, at 4 pm, for the continuation of the second event in a series of online "town hall" gatherings to discuss ways Maine's communities of faith can be prepared to respond when vulnerable groups are targeted by the new administration.

We created our own Lenten Devotional this year filled with songs that we sing together - grieving the world we have and working for a better one. You can check out the beginning of the devotional here on this Ash Wednesday.
