I made this smoked salmon chowder from my galpal’s dad fresh smoked salmon I also baked a baguette but my buddy insisted on adding soda crackers to the mix.

I made this pie last night! It was like eating a Meyer lemon custard pie! Used my own pie dough recipe plus some lemons from a friend’s front yard tree here in Oakland and it turned into one of the flakiest pastries that I’ve ever had. Would definitely make this one again.

Made a Vinegar Pie tonight on the occasion of visiting the old ladies of the family down in South Georgia. Only one of them had ever had it before, though one of my gfs swears by it as her childhood favorite from down here.

I was camping at this place in Western Idaho last week. It was an 8 hr plus drive from Portland. 80 mins of the drive was down a dirt road around a canyon near some First Nations Reservations.
Very remote; no cell / internet. My earthy lesbian bestie’s 40th. So many fun ladies! So many hot springs!
