Underrated aspect of this is how since ~2016 platforms have amplified toxic content in general because it was good for engagement. Maybe we’ve adapted in our thirst for clout?

Milner played at bigger clubs where there was more competition for place. Idk it seems weird that it’s not tacky for players to chase trophies but tacky for players to chase stats.

Europe has an “American Chinese food” thing going on with their Mexican food where it’s (de)flavored according to the local food culture. I had Mexican food in Spain, a great food country, made by Mexican immigrants and it was atrocious because it tasted like Spanish food.
