Last week the Frogpants community lost a pillar of the community; JJ Valentine aka Caoboi. He was such a bright light and kind soul. A GoFundMe was set up to help his wife, Renee, and children. Rest in peace JJ. We love you.

Just sitting here. Totally fucking terrified and can’t do a god damned thing about it. I’m jealous of cartoon characters because they don’t have to live in this reality. Time to get stoned off my ass.

If Walgreens could figure out how to fill prescriptions that would be really cool. I have to use them because of insurance but I end up having to call or go in every time I need a refill because SOMETHING always goes wrong.

Dear publishers, why do I have to resort to Amazon to figure it IF a book is part of a series and which book in the series it is? Make it obvious on the cover or the spine.

A reminder Monday that there will be an avalanche of executive orders.

Mass deportations will start.

Meanwhile, the House and Senate will try to ram through a bunch of bad bills.

Do not get lost in a sea of despair.

That is what they want.

Prepare yourselves now.

My wife has her first pop up sale tonight for her business she’s starting up. The tent that was supposed to arrive on Wednesday is now supposedly getting here an hour before the event starts. Somehow this will all come together and tonight will be great. Wish us luck!

Every time I read about banning books, I think of this:

Reading a book with a gay character will not make you gay any more than reading a book about Einstein will make you a genius.
If you're afraid that books might change someone's thinking, you're not afraid of books — you're afraid of thinking.

Just finished watching #hundredsofbeavers with my 14-year-old son. That was the weirdest and funniest thing I have seen in years. There were parts I couldn’t breathe I was laughing so hard. It must be seen to be believed.

As the partner of the owner of a small bookstore I 100% agree.
Who else thinks that buying banned books as presents is a great idea this year?
