If the Epstein files have proven anything, it’s that the justice system isn’t broken; it’s working exactly as it was built to do: to shield the rich and powerful from accountability while victims are buried, ignored, or silenced.

Been trying to sleep for three hours and it just wouldn’t happen. Got up to grab a beer, hoping it would help and go to the bathroom. I look in the mirror notice I had my pajamas on inside out. That explains a lot about the day and not sleeping.

Having a difficult time (in the best of ways) setting this book of essays by Zadie Smith down the past two days.

A reminder-to-self: one of the virtues of great writing is how the words themselves stretch your thinking. 10/10 recommend.
