Wait, isn’t that mixing two methods? I certainly made my fare share of soda pipes. And the faucets in our house flowed weird because my brother and I took all the screens. But they weren’t connected. You just poke little holes in the “bowl” of the can. The screens were for these dudes:

It’s not my job to introduce my kids to current culture. In fact, I would probably do a pretty bad job of it. I’m happy to just lay a groundwork for them to encounter and appreciate stuff on their own as they age.
