No. Now is not the time to play dead.

The Democrats have already played dead for too many years.

60% of our people are living paycheck to paycheck. Millions of seniors are going hungry.

Now is the time to stand up for the working class of this country.

(1/3) It needs repeating: in 1994, Ukraine was persuaded to give up its nuclear weapons to Russia in return for the US, the UK, and Russia guaranteeing Ukraine’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.

jesus fucking christ, man, it gets really tired noting this kind of thing, but "[veterans] aren't fit to have a job or aren't willing to come to work" is the kind of headline that should absolutely destroy a fucking administration and would, if that administration were led by a democrat
Alina Habba on veterans who have been fired from government jobs: "Perhaps they're not fit to have a job at this moment."

I’m not in an area that has active wildfires but several portions of the Carolinas are right now. Dry/windy weather along with extra debris after Helene has made conditions favorable for fires to spread in some areas. #WNC #horrycountySC #oconeecountySC #polkcountyNC to name a few affected areas.

Trump is using campus protest as a gateway to prohibit all protest in the long run. This is a long game to dismantle First Amendment protections. I hope that's obvious to everyone.

There are no "illegal protests" under the First Amendment.

This is just fascism brought to us by an ignorant old man drunk on power.

This morning I went to John Lewis Middle School to watch a class taught by Brian Greene. 4 days a week he teaches botany. On Fridays, he teaches the kids how to cook using plants they’ve grown in the school’s gardens.

With corporate media capitulating to trump, and subscribers cancelling their subscription to the wapo, where can we get news from trusted sources? Downtown Nasty Women Social Group has created “Trusted Sources” list. Here’s their recommended list and please consider subscribing to them:
Updated: Trusted Sources: For Fact-Based Journalism
Many of us have canceled our subscription to WaPo after its owner, billionaire Jeff Bezos, refused to allow the paper to endorse Kamala Harris for President. Where to turn? Read on for ideas.

I definitely have friends who fit into this age demographic so I’ll be passing this info along to them. And also I got an MMR booster before international travel last summer as recommended at the time by the CDC.
If you were born after 1957 and were vaccinated before 1968, consider getting an MMR (mumps, measles, rubella) vaccine.

The vaccine then was inactivated and not as effective as the current one.

And measles is highly contagious and can be deadly.

Please ask your doctor about this! 💙
Measles cases are rising in the U.S. Do adults need a vaccine booster?
With a measles outbreak growing in West Texas, and cases popping up across the country, experts say vaccination is your best protection. And it's not just for kids. Some adults may need a booster.

The debt itself is not the emergency. Inequality is. And DOGE is cutting programs for the poor to clear the way for Trump’s tax cuts for corporations and the rich, making it worse.

DOGE is a transfer of wealth from the bottom to the top. See it for what it is.

Another reason to ❤️ Costco.

While Target and others cancel diversity to appease Trump, Costco’s investing in the community—building apartments above its stores, starting in LA.

This $425M project includes 184 low-income units, with key services, plus a rooftop pool and fitness center.
