This is such a tricky question. Sometimes it can be a focus issue, and I need to push through a bit and trust that editing will fix whatever steps I needed to keep moving. But there's a big risk of pushing something that's just not working; and I need to take it back and try to rethink for a while!

Excellent question! Sometimes it just comes down to needing it to be finished, so you can move on to your next project - you can finesse and make changes forever if you let yourself.
