Game developer, software engineer, tea drinker, linux user.

I make games with #godot, play them at https://yngvarr.itch.io/. Or don't, I won't get mad. :)
A week ago we participated in a local game jam and made a game about destroying surveillance drones that try to disguise as pigeons. It was very fun to make and the atmosphere of a local game jam was exactly what I needed to get the cogs rolling again. Check it out: yngvarr.itch.io/pigeons-aren...

This also works for remembering what you wanted to do next time you open the project. I used to add a todo without a comment.

And another game jam is done! We made a game about making music out of loops for GMTK Game Jam. This may be the most ambitious of our games in terms of scope and, I believe, we handled it pretty well. 😅 Check it out! yngvarr.itch.io/loopmaster-2...

Yesterday we finished making our first game for Nokia 3310 Jam, a game jam where you're bound by the limitations of a very particular old phone. I loved the constraints, we could feel them empowering us! Go check it out: yngvarr.itch.io/coffee-to-go

Opened our old project and look at that! Every enemy has their own unique name. Do you do this too?

TFW you wanted to make a trail for a ball, but misplaced some values and ended up with a cool Superman-esqe cape. 😎

Was about to work on another game, but got caught in Tens! again and added game stats. Because it's always nice to see how many games you've played so far and what is your highest score, isn't it?

Have you heard of Super Tic-Tac-Toe? It's a tic-tac-toe board where every cell is a tic-tac-toe board! Winning a small game makes a turn in the big one. And a couple more rules.

I made a small prototype to play with my wife. I didn't expect this much tactical depth from a tic-tac-toe game.

Oh, so there is a working RSS feed on your site! I was subscribed to `nortverse.com/feed` and it didn't work. The actual feed is not linked to pages, so my reader couldn't pick it up. Thanks for pointing out!
