I made my wedding bouquet out of flowers from my and my husband's cultural inheritance: peonies for my maternal French family (& my growing up in Indiana), ranunculus for his Lebanese/German family, and heather & thistles for my paternal Scottish family.

The dogwood tree at work has never looked better - blooms galore - but I had to do some inquiry to figure out why these pink spots showed up after several days of heavy rain. Turns out all those flowers overlapping each other are perfect for botrytis.
