I really liked House of Dynamite.
It’s intense and sobering. I think most of the criticism film’s narrative pacing and ending misses the point. It’s atypical and some people are bothered by that. I was not. In fact, it’s what made the film stick with me.

Love the song but when first saw the album cover I thought it was Animal from the Muppet Show.

I find many gay films/shows generic and boring but I really liked Boots, a military comedy/drama TV series about a closeted gay teenager who follows his best Str8 friend into the Marine Corps. Added incentive to watch it is that GI Gin aka Pete Hegseth calls it "woke garbage."
