People bemoan the decline of journalism in the media but historically major news ‘gatekeepers’ have routinely protected corrupt politicians, promoted sexism, racism and homophobia, championed big business over small, and supported numerous wars, at least until they were no longer popular.

I really liked House of Dynamite.
It’s intense and sobering. I think most of the criticism film’s narrative pacing and ending misses the point. It’s atypical and some people are bothered by that. I was not. In fact, it’s what made the film stick with me.

I find many gay films/shows generic and boring but I really liked Boots, a military comedy/drama TV series about a closeted gay teenager who follows his best Str8 friend into the Marine Corps. Added incentive to watch it is that GI Gin aka Pete Hegseth calls it "woke garbage."

Taxing the rich and closing loopholes will lead to increased government revenue for public services and lead to higher economic growth. The supposed negative effects is just wealth-funded propaganda. NeoGilded Age investments would decline but the overall economy would improve significantly.

Nuanced views of many who oppose Trump get drowned out CCP type propaganda on the Right. I can support border security and oppose ICE, want better trade balance and think Trump is doing it wrong, oppose Hamas and the Israeli government, oppose Maduro and China and the invasion of Venezuela, etc.
