If the material powers that be will not respond when you ask nicely—and historically let me assure you they N E V E R do and never have—then you need to force the issue. And *then* you can think of asking nicely when you already twisted their arm.

The response to censorship campaigns, which is what these are, should be Folsom. Simply make it an untenable position. The issue isn't that numbers cannot be mobilized. Look at the call volumes to these places. There are plenty of people willing to go to bat (or to the mat!) for this.

If the issue got "too" socially widespread and became a public issue, there's your proof there's a public interest and numbers enough to constitute an interest group. Press the advantage, then, and keep it a public issue. Be more cringe and worse.
