Then he defends his proposal to run pro-life Dems in red states by pointing out there were 40 pro-life House Dems when the ACA passed in 2010. Of course, Roe was still law then and women didn't have to worry as much whether their state officials were pro-life or pro-choice. That's just not true now.

He describes Hillary's 2015 "deplorable" comments as "severing political community" in a week when the President broadly claimed the left is "directly responsible for the terrorism [in the country]." Should I, in 2025, still be trying to reconcile with something Clinton said ten years ago? Really?

His defense of his piece on Kirk raises the question: Why did you feel so compelled to write a whole piece so soon after he died? Why not offer condolences and wait until you can speak with clarity on the subject?

This is not a real issue affecting Americans. Anybody who deems this a serious problem in this country is an unserious person. It's fear-mongering crafted to divide people in bad faith, and Shapiro is right for calling it out as extremism.
