genuine question, how do you connect with friends online now? I quit twitter and instagram. I still have FB for some reason but its a ghost town. Its my fault for relying on platforms to maintain the bare resemblance of a relationship with friends.

I saw Steve Albini's band Shellac in a tiny dive bar in Chinatown Honolulu. There were about 12 people total and Albini was antagonistic to everyone there. It was the exact Albini experience you'd want.

Kinda obsessed over the VHS aesthetic Gen Z seems enamored with. I'm left wondering if its just pure 90's nostalgia, which would be funny cause 90's music videos didn't actually look like that, or if its rather a rejection of a the clarity of digital?

I've never had cognitive dissonance hit me harder than just now when I watched new Adam Sandler trailer without knowing anything about it and they cut from Sandler to f'n Carey Mulligan.
I still don't fully believe a Sandler movie can also be a Carey Mulligan movie.
