(In New Mexico, Willkie won in San Juan, Mora, Grant, Bernalillo, Valencia, and Lincoln counties, while the Democrats won the rest of the state and came out on top statewide. In San Miguel County, the race was 55.3% to 44.6% in favor of FDR, a clear continuing mandate for the New Deal.)
