Just watched the movie 'Sneakers' again for the first time since the 90s. (It's on Peacock for free for a few more days.) I forgot how enjoyable it is. Just an incredible cast, though far too many of them are gone now. There was even a surprise cameo at the end that I forgot about. Great flick!

For all the MAGAs trying to claim that all that red land in Virginia far outnumbers the “cheating demoncrats”, here’s the ACTUAL voting map:

I had a pic from the 80s of my little gang of friends. My brother and his then-girlfriend (eventual wife, eventual ex-wife) was also in the pic, dead center. I posted it, and he said he didn't need the reminder (of her). So another of my friends fixed it for him.

‘Thundarr the Barbarian’! Been forever. Everything is so random! 😄

2000 years after the planet died, but nothing’s disintegrated away over the millennia? Magic, I guess.

This had me cackling though — a “fire whale”! WTF! 😂 It blends into the red sky, but there’s flames shooting out of its top.

Goodnight, sweet little Molly. Until we see each other again. Love you always and forever.

Yesterday was the 100th anniversary of the release of The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. At the time of its release, the book was an utter failure, completely dismissed by the buying public. Its literary resurrection during WW2 is so random and fascinating:

I don’t think that chart is accurate? (The reality is even worse with Trump’s record.)

Love these EC covers. This one inspired one of my favorite Archie covers too.

Holy shit, this is weird. I’ve only just now seen this announcement FROM 1997 in Issue 20 of ‘Wandering Star’ that I was the winner of Teri Sue Wood’s rare small press Book 2 of the original series. I’d received the book in the mail and was thrilled to have won it. But never saw this, haha. #comics

Pretty Boy Floyd, a notorious gangster and bank robber back in the early 1930s Depression Era, was seen positively by the public at the time because, during robberies, HE BURNED MORTGAGE DOCUMENTS freeing many people from their debts. 😎👍

Rowling may have transfigured into a massive disappointing troll, but damned if these Butterbeer flavored Hershey’s Kisses aren’t delicious as hell.

I never did get around to reading Sinclair Lewis’s ‘It Can’t Happen Here’ during Trump’s first term. Then Biden won, and I’d thought the moment had past. Bumping it back up to the top of my reading list.

Grew up in the 80s. TMNT 1 was already the super grail of that era at the time. Never even saw a 1st printing until decades later. But finally got myself one for my collection.
