The whole equating Jewishness with the nation of Israel, and thus criticizing the actions of the state of Israel being antisemitism, is a rather vicious political construction.

Sort of like how so many Jewish people freaked out when Mormons were baptizing every dead person including Jews. As a gentile atheist, what do I care? Baptize me in every religion, as long as I don’t have to show up, who cares? But to Jews, even atheist Jews, it was a somewhat sinister erasure.

The thing about Jews and Christmas is that Jews have faced mass forced conversions innumerable times in attempts to erase their culture and religion. So even tho they might be atheist, they often don’t want to celebrate a Christian holiday because they have been FORCED to celebrate Christmas before.
